Are you playing GTA V and suddenly there's no sound? No music, no gunshots, no engine revs — just complete silence? Don't worry, you're not alone. In this post, I’ll show you multiple ways to fix GTA 5 sound problems easily and permanently.

🔧 Common Sound Issues in GTA V:

• No sound in cutscenes or gameplay
• No audio in speakers or headphones
• Game only plays partial sounds
• Settings reset after restart

✅ Solution 1: Fix In-Game Audio Settings

1. Launch GTA 5
2. Go to Settings → Audio
3. Set Output Device to Default
4. Ensure all volume bars are set to 100%

✅ Solution 2: Adjust Windows Sound Settings

1. Right-click on the speaker icon →
2. Click the volume mixer tab
3. check the app used system sound → its muted for gta 5
4. unmuted it

✅ Solution 3: Delete Corrupt Settings File

1. Go to: Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V
2. Delete the file named settings.xml
3. Restart the game – a new settings file will be auto-generated
